HEIR OF DIOGENES
Here and here is an uncommonly honest and pointed self-critique from the left that paints a stark picture of how morally and intellectually at sea they were about Iraq and how beholden they now are to the mob. The first part will be of particular interest to those who believe brainwashing kids is a religious specialty.

It's a great article and the book will be worth a read.
But let's admit that it's also rather great that the Observer (the Sunday version of the Guardian) will run it, and that the Guardian will run it on its website.
It does surprise me a bit: I would have guessed he'd read them all, looking for mentions of himself.
The way the British broadsheet newspapers have embraced free internet service is remarkable, when you come to think about it.
